“There’s a lot of great imagination behind this book. I love, love, love that historical figures get to be vampires in this book, and that there’s a conflict with one vampire–and some other vampires–that will keep me reading through the whole series. The whole book is told from a variety of perspectives, so we get to meet a lot of characters to hear what they have to say about what’s happening. The author also does a good job of creating suspense and inserting little bits of humor into a dark story.”
